i.e. Kosciuszko. Both places in NSW. M was planning a trip to that area, which he
visited from 6 to 26 January 1874; see M to R Ramsay, August 1874 (in this edition as 74-08-00), and also M to G. Bentham, 27 January 1874.
No map specifically for that area has been found, but it is included in 'Map of Victoria

constructed and engraved at the Surveyor General's Office; G.A. Windsor, draughtsman;
William Slight, engraver'
,
published in August 1872. Skene was Surveyor General
at the time.
