Sir,
I have the honor to acknowledge the receipt of your letter of the 6th Instant and to inform you, that if I go to the Northern Territory a collector, nominated by Dr Schomburgk, will accompany me — and any suggestions you think it desirable to make shall be carefully attended to.
The Collector who has been nominated is named Schulze who takes his son with him

and his time is to be devoted wholly to the Government and he is to collect specimens of Botany & Natural History.
