MS in M's handwriting, on a sheet with the Board of Agriculture's letterhead, annotated 'Memo | Dr Mueller'. There are further annotations, in a different hand: '[Passed] 50 on an amendment of Mr Bindon' and '£30 for Gems'. The de facto addressee is John Knight, secretary to the Commission for the Intercolonial Exhibition.

Of the Intercolonial Exhibition of Australasia, Melbourne, 1866-7. M was one of the Commissioners of the Exhibition. Item dated to 1866 since this was when the exhibits were being organized. Meetings of the Commission were held in the offices of the Board of Agriculture and M may have prepared his memo during a meeting.
